Heber's Demolition Derby

For some reason, my family thinks it's funny to dress up for the Derby. After all, dressing up makes everything more exciting. Thomas was looking pretty cool with his mascara facial hair and my old shirt from junior with the sleeves cut off. We find 1/3 of the crowd enjoys dressing up, as well, another 1/3 of the crowd legitimately dresses that way, and the rest are just there for a good time. As luck would have it, the last two years either Scott or I have gotten home from a Young Women's/ Young Men's trip the day of the Derby. After cleaning up from the trip and being a bit worn out from teenagers we are yet to find the energy to go all out with our attire.
