It's not hard to tell who the star is in our family.
Almost every picture we took was with someone + Eliza, except the one I stole from Calli's blog.
Bull Wars is held in Kamas and is one of my small town favorites. The town recently got together and increased the ticket price from $6 to $7 and many cute folks thought that was too high. We always buy our tickets when we arrive. Seating is a first come first serve basis, surprisingly there plenty of empty seats this year.
The events include:
bull riding
wild cow milking
cow hide racing
Very few riders were able to survive the full 8 seconds with the fierce bulls and all of them will certainly be very sore after wards, which makes for great entertainment. Kamas is the only rodeo I've been to with cowhide racing. It entails a rider with a cow hide dragging from the horse and brave soul who jumps onto the cowhide as the rider rounds the barrel and races out the gate. My dad feels rodeos are one of the few places he feels true patriotism.
