4th of July events

We spent the 4th of July with my family up at our condo in Midway. It makes for the perfect getaway since it is such a short drive, yet feels like a mini vacation. Midway is such a small town their are few restaurant options. We usually eat at either Cafe Galleria for pizza or Mexican. We settled for Don Pedros and Eliza tried her first re-fried beans. She pretty much loves anything that comes off my plate. Eliza turned 8 months on the 4th. Whoa, the time is flying by. Grandma played with Eliza while we went boating at Deer Creek.
James loved driving AND honking the horn of course

We made a visit to Grandpa Rider in the Provo hospital before heading to the Stadium of Fire. There is nothing like holding a baby to cheer you up. So happy he is doing better:)
We were stoked to hear the Beach Boys. They bring back childhood memories of dancing on the boat in Lake Powell. Eliza was entertained by all of the people surrounding us in the stadium. We got a head start on the traffic and enjoyed the fireworks during the drive home.
