We refer to this beach as "mango man beach" because of this little man who sells mangos on a stick. Oh boy are they yummy. After getting cut open like a flower, the mangos receive a squirt of lime and pinch of salt. It is the perfect treat for a hot beach day. Even my brother in law Ben, who is not a big fruit eater, devoured three.
The waves at our resort are too dangerous for swimming or even walking close to, so we like to drive over to this cove for swimming in the ocean. We bought a bunch of tubes at walmart and had a riot getting pushed in and out of the waves. Katesy had some good tumbles. My parents went shopping and hung out at the resort with Eliza so she wouldn't get scorched at the beach. They are the best! The only shade was from the umbrella we brought. Just enough shade for me to drift off reading Heaven is Here. I highly recommend this book.
Getting ready to hike over to Lover's beach.
We found this Churro stand on the street driving to dinner. They offered nutella, vanilla cream, or carmel filling. We decided to get one before dinner so it could be enjoyed to its fullest.
My cute parents wanted my cousin Makayla to swim with the dolphins, so we endured another time share presentation in order to get a deal on the dolphins. Time share presentations always sound worse than they really are. They started us out with a delicious breakfast. We went back for seconds on their french toast sprinkled in cinnamon sugar and raved about it the rest of the week. Next they took us on a beautiful tour of their resort suit, which comes with its own private pool. We were swooning over the heavenly view from the room. I wear the bjorn and some how Eliza is able to nap while I carry her in it. She slept all through breakfast and the tour. The last part of the presentation is where they put on the pressure. They offer pina coladas and are great little salesman, after all my parents have bought twice. Unfortunately for them we were only there for our dolphin swim. When the 90 minutes was up we were off to the pool.
You can see from our smiles the dolphin swim was well worth the time share presentation.

My mom found this darling cover up for Eliza. Everything is so much cuter in her size.
Making a stop at the Cabo Surf Hotel is must. We enjoy watching the surfers and believe their hamburger are hard to beat. Probably one of the only places you can get a hamburger in Mexico without it being from McDonalds.
Our last night in Cabo came too quickly. You can tell who spent the most time in the shade. Haha. We of course went for churros (pre-dinner) and our favorite taco joint Guagamayas. We ended the evening with a boat tour to see the arch at Lover's beach. So fun spending a relaxing week with my family. Thanks for the great trip mom and dad. The best news is that my sister Calli and her husband Dan are packing up and moving back to Utah, since Calli starts Law school at BYU this fall. That means a long cross country road trip from Florida.
