How did our little baby become 6 months? At 6 months Eliza is rarely called Eliza. We mostly refer to her as Pumpkin, Liza, or Pumpkin bear. At 6 months our little pumpkin takes the best naps. Sometimes two 3 hour naps a day. The days of long hot showers have returned. At 6 months she likes her mama to nurse her to sleep in the big bed with the warm comforter and stay with her until she falls asleep. Right now we try to put her down by 8:30 (some nights we have to be flexible) and she usually wakes up around 7:30 ready to play. By 9:00 she is ready for her first three hour nap. We love to go for an outing in the afternoon and return around 3:00 or 4:00 for an afternoon nap. It is hard to imagine life getting any better.

At 6 months Eliza sports a size 2 diaper
Right when we thought life couldn't get any better we introduced her to solids. At 5 1/2 months we introduced Eliza to rice cereal. She loved being fed and helping hold the spoon. Unfortunately rice cereal made her constipated. We took a break from rice cereal and introduced sweet potatoes, which she absolutely loves. She gets so excited during feedings and says "uh uh uh". She has even cried when the bowl is all gone.

At 6 months her favorite toy is her crinkly book. It also tastes delicious. Naturally everything goes right to the mouth. We call this "giving it a frenchie"
At 6 months she has discovered her feet and is constantly taking a nibble at them.
At 6 months she is going through a phase where she likes to suck her bottom lip in. So funny. We sure love our petite 6 month old.
